1MORE announces THX certification for its True Wireless ANC Headphones

1MORE has announced that its True Wireless Active Noise-Cancellation (ANC) In-Ear Headphones has attained a certification from audio authority THX to become the World’s first THX Certified True Wireless Stereo (TWS) headphones.

The 1MORE True Wireless ANC In-Ear Headphones (EHD9001TA) was first released in January 2020. Since then, 1MORE has worked closely with THX, making sound profile modifications to further enhance the audio output performance and quality to become the World’s First THX Certified True Wireless in-ear headphones. THX Certified sound is available on units manufactured from June 2020 forward and with firmware version 3.62 or higher. You can visit 1MORE website to check whether your unit is THX certified.

“By collaborating with 1MORE and its engineers, we have seen firsthand their dedication and diligence to ensure their consumers get the best possible audio experience,” said Peter Vasay, general manager and senior vice president at THX in charge of the THX Certification program. “These True Wireless ANC In-Ear Headphones have undergone our rigorous testing process and are now THX Certified, giving proof of their quality audio performance.”

“1MORE takes pride in delivering the very best audio products which can be seen through our awards, and the lengths we go through for industry-leading validations such as THX Certification, and the addition of QuietMax,” says Frank Lin, chief executive officer, 1MORE.

The company also took the opportunity to unveil its QuietMax active noise cancellation technology, which seeks to change the way headphones deliver ANC by combining hybrid ANC technology, dual-driver sound reproduction technology, precise audio tuning, dual-band ANC and wind noise reduction in one suite. Available exclusively on 1MORE headphones, QuietMax seeks the address the challenges of traditional ANC implementations where ANC circuitry greatly diminishes sound quality, and its process obliterates the sound frequency in the upper range to the point no low pass filter can solve.

According to 1MORE, its engineers have not only innovated a way to make the ANC better, but they have solved the problems of diminished sound quality, wind noise interference, and uncomfortable ear pressure as well. 1MORE has revolutionized a new way forward in the market of active noise cancellation with its QuietMax technology. In a multi-pronged approach, the engineers have used not only hardware advancements, but also tuning acumen, proprietary components and processes to not only make ANC better but to dispel the idea that ANC means reduced sound quality.

QuietMax technology is currently available on the 1MORE True Wireless ANC and Dual Driver ANC Pro headphones.
