Audio-Technica announced the introduction of the All-New True Wireless Headphone, ATH-CK3TW, adding to its range of True Wireless Headphones, the ATH-CKR7TW, the ATH-SPORT7TW and the ATH-CK5TW introduced in August, this year.
Targetted at music enthusiasts looking for complete freedom from wires and true comfort when listening on-the-move and designed for convenience and ease-of-use on-the-go, the ATH-CK3TW boasts an Auto Power On/Off feature which automatically turns the headphones on and pairs them with the smartphone, or portable digital audio player, when they are removed from their charging case. The compact earbuds will also turn off automatically when placed back inside the case. The case includes LED battery status indicators and charging comes via USB Type-C™.
Audio during calls has also been enhanced using Qualcomm cVc™ (Clear Voice Capture) technology that delivers gentle ambient noise reduction for improved clarity during conversations. For those with active lifestyles, the ATH-CK3TW’s drip-proof IPX2 water resistance rating means it protects the earbuds from contacting with some water splash.
The ATH-CK3TW arrives with the latest Bluetooth 5.0 wireless technology for a long-range, reliable connection and multi-pairing capabilities and features 5.8mm drivers which are designed to provide a powerful and precise audio performance despite the headphones’ compact size. These ergonomic, minimalist earbuds fit naturally in ears of all sizes and come with four sizes of thin, flexible silicone ear tips (XS/S/M/L) that further customize the fit, providing excellent isolation and improved sound delivery.
Touch sensors for controlling audio, calls and volume are located on each earbud, allowing for seamless use on-the-go. The ATH-CK3TW has a battery life of 6 hours per charge, with an additional 24 hours of battery power deliverable via the charging case.
Audio-Technica also implemented Qualcomm’s TrueWireless™ Stereo Plus, designed to deliver superior audio quality and extended battery life. The ATH-CK3TW also supports Voice Assistants Siri and Good Assistant for convenient and quick hands-free voice
command activation.
The ATH-CK3TW is compatible with aptX and SBC codecs and is available in four colour options: black, white, blue and red, retailing at SGD 159 from December 2019.
