audirect today announced the hilidac atom Pro, the first product under its new subsidiary brand, hilidac. Furthering the success of the audirect Beam, which offered audio enthusiasts the ability to improve their digital-audio experience with Apple® and Android® smartphones at an unprecedented performance-to-price ratio.

The hilidac atom Pro is the company’s attempt at delivering unprecedented sound quality in the smallest possible form factor. The atom Pro has a robust 2-volt output that could drive almost any headphones coupled with an affordable and exceptionally competent MQA renderer developed in partnership with MQA Ltd.

Featuring the ES9281C PRO DAC chip from ESS, atom Pro is equipped with a crystal oscillator designed to provide best-in-class audio performance at 118 dB DNR and -113dB THD + N, supporting sampling rates of up to 32bit, 384KHz as well as up to DSD128 via DoP.

Available in both USB Type-C and Lightning, the atom Pro is scheduled to be released at the end of Q4, 2019 in five colours; Black, Blue, Gold, Silver and Red and is expected to retail at USD 59.99.
