Effect Audio unveils new Signature Series

Effect Audio has today introduced its new Signature Series, a collection of entry-level cables developed with a Tri-Factor focus on Sound, Material and Design.

Building on the foundations laid by Ares II and Eros II of the Singapore-based brand’s now-defunct Premium Series, the Effect Audio Signature Series comprises three cables: Ares S, Cadmus, and Eros S.

The team has designed a custom set of Y-Split and Termination connectors exclusively for the series, which sees the aesthetic combination of the raw beauty of Forged Carbon Fibre with the intricacy of multi-side polished/brush aluminium.

The series also introduces Effect Audio’s new Ergonomic Performance Optimisation (EPO) process on the Ares S and Cadmus, where the cables achieve outstanding flexibility and manoeuvrability without compromising audio qualities.

Sporting a proprietary dual geometric design, the Ares S features UP-OCC Copper conductors and seeks to be a detailed, lush and dynamic cable showcasing an enhanced and clean delivery characterised by a warm vocal that is mesmerising and alluring.

The latest addition to the brand’s entry-level offerings, Cadmus features UP-OCC Silver-Plated Copper conductors in a septuplet multi-sized core bundle design. It seeks to provide a higher-resolution experience characterised by a bold but controlled low end coupled with an outstanding treble response.

The Eros S retains the optimised proprietary hybrid of UP-OCC Silver and UP-OCC Copper conductors, synonymous with its predecessors. The cable seeks to achieve a combination of the warm qualities of a copper offering and the transparency and spaciousness of a silver offering, allowing one to experience the best of both worlds through a single package.

All the cables in the Signature Series will feature Effect Audio’s ConX™ Interchangeable Connector in its Ready variant, including a pair of 2-pin connectors. Those requiring MMCX connectors can purchase them as an option for SGD 15 / US 10.

Also in the package is a unique and handy carrying pouch for each Signature Series cable. Design from scratch, the carry pouch features a combination of basket weave Oxford Cloth, Sandwich Cloth, and Microfibre Leather, materials reminiscent of those used in the ancient Greek era. In addition, a Chamber bag is in the works for enthusiasts to store all their carry pouches.

The Ares S, Cadmus and Eros S of the Effect Audio Signature Series are available now from Effect Audio and its authorised resellers at an MSRP of USD 179 / SGD 249, USD 199 / SGD 279, and USD 299 / SGD 429, respectively.
