In 2020, FiiO introduced the FD series featuring In-Ear Monitors whose design revolves around Dynamic Drivers with the entry-level FD1 debuting in July, followed by the Flagship FD5 in December. Finally, in July 2021, FiiO introduced the FiiO FD3 filling the gap between the FD1 and the FD5.
