FiiO launches Three New Products at FiiO Winter Launch Event 2019

FiiO today unveiled three new products, including a portable music player, a pair of In-Ear Monitors and a neckband Bluetooth cable at the company’s Winter Launch Event 2019 in Guangzhou, China.

M15 Flagship Android-based Lossless Portable Music Player

The M15 is the latest portable music player from FiiO that features the latest Flagship DAC chip, the AK4499EQ from Asahi Kasei Microdevices (AKM). The new Flagship sports two AK4499EQ DAC chips in a True Balanced Configuration to realise better sound quality. The M15 is the first FiiO player to feature a 4-channel current amplification circuit powered by an extremely sophisticated multi-channel power supply system. This has provided the company’s latest Flagship portable music player with a monstrous power output of 6.5Vrms for the 2.5mm and 4.4mm Balanced outputs and 3.2Vrms for the 3.5mm Single-Ended output to realise an unprecedented audio experience from the Chinese manufacturer.

The M15 features a Hexa-Core CPU, 3GB of RAM, 5.15-inch touchscreen, 64GB of internal memory (ROM), dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4G and 5G) and offers external memory storage expansion of up to 2TB via a concealed micro SD slot. The flagship device also sports an independent XMOS XUF208 control chip ensuring lower latency and facilitates 32-bit/768KHz bit-to-bit playback of high-resolution PCM audio as well as native DSD playback of up to DSD512.

On the certification front, the M15 is MQA certified, facilitating full decoding (8x) of original MQA files and is also conferred dual Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Wireless Audio Certification.

The FiiO M15 will be available in Q1 2020 for USD 1,299.99.

FH1s Balanced Armature-Dynamic Hybrid In-Ear Monitors

FiiO expands on its In-Ear Monitors (IEMs) offering with the release of the new FH1s, a pair of Balanced Armature-Dynamic Hybrid IEMs and successor to the highly successful FH1. The FH1s features a custom-grade generic mould shell with a 13.6mm polymer diaphragm dynamic driver and a Knowles 33518 balanced armature driver, finished with a gold-plated brass nozzle. The IEMs are paired with a 120 core high purity monocrystalline copper Litz cable which ensures a balanced sound signature and a high level of detail retrieval.

The FiiO FH1s will be available in Q1 2020 for USD 59.99.

A new Neckband Bluetooth Upgrade Cable also debut at the Winter Launch Event 2019. The FiiO LC-BT2 Neckband Bluetooth Upgrade Cable is a backwards-wired neckband Bluetooth upgrade cable designed to provide the best Bluetooth experience from a Neckband Bluetooth Upgrade Cable. The LC-BT2 features Qualcomm’s Flagship Bluetooth chip CSR8675, supporting Bluetooth codecs SBC/AAC/aptX/aptX HD/LDAC as well as detachable connectors allowing compatibility with IEMs or Earphones using MMCX and 0.78mm 2-pin connectors. Implementing AKM’s energy-saving AK4331 DAC chip, the neckband cable supports continuous music playback of up to 24 hours. continuous playtime and 350 hours in sleep mode.
