RHA launches the Wireless Flight Adapter

British audio brand RHA launched a new accessory this week, the Wireless Flight Adapter.

Active-Noise Cancelling headphones from leading players like Bose and Sony have gone wireless in recent years, however, if one would like to enjoy the in-flight entertainment, the use of the bundled plug adaptor for in-flight use and 3.5mm single-ended headphone cable is necessary, rendering the wireless function of your wireless headphones useless.

The Wireless Flight Adapter from RHA is designed to overcome that. Featuring Bluetooth 5.0, the accessory is purposed to provide the connection between the in-flight entertainment system and your wireless headphones. According to RHA, the accessory has a battery life of 16-hours on a single charge, which should suffice for most flights.

The accessory also has the ability to simultaneously broadcast to two headphones, great for those trips with your loved one as well as bring you closer to high-resolution audio with aptX and aptX LL to reduce audio latency which is great if you are enjoying movies on-flight or playing games. The modular single 3.5mm or dual 3.5mm inputs also means that you can use the Wireless Flight Adapter beyond in-flight operations, effectively Bluetooth enabling any gadgets with a 3.5mm jack.
