Sennheiser has debuted the new Sennheiser SPORT True Wireless, a new True Wireless Stereo (TWS) that seeks to deliver superior audio performance for fitness enthusiasts and athletes alike regardless of the intensity of the workout.
The German audio brand’s latest TWS offering continues to feature Sennheiser’s unique 7 mm TrueResponse transducer. The Sennheiser SPORT True Wireless sports a unique Adaptable Acoustic feature that offers users a choice of open and closed ear adapters.
In combination with the Aware EQ settings, the open ear adapters help reduce body-borne noise while allowing some exterior sounds for better situation awareness. As a result, runners hear fewer distracting noises, such as their heartbeat or footsteps, and more of their surroundings blend in with their preferred music. When working out in noisy surroundings, one can immerse themselves in their select music with the closed ear adapter and Focus EQ settings.
The Sennheiser SPORT True Wireless is Bluetooth 5.2 compatible with support for Bluetooth audio codecs AAC, aptX and SBC and sports a battery life of 9 hours with another 18 hours from the charging case.
It was shared with Porta-Fi that Sennheiser developed the ergonomic design of the Sport True Wireless to feel as comfortable as possible when exercising. In addition to the open and closed ear adapters in three sizes, there are four different ear fins for that customisable fit. Rated IP54, the earbuds are dust and splash-resistant and can withstand sweat, a jog in the rain, or a workout at the beach.
The Sennheiser SPORT True Wireless can be pre-ordered from now at selected markets and will be available on 3 May 2022, with an MSRP of EUR 129.90 / GBP 119.99 / USD 129.99
