Pros
- Excellent build quality
- Excellent sound quality
- Extreme value-for-money
Cons
- Proprietary connectors for detachable cable
Summary
The Sennheiser IE 40 PRO is a keeper, its excellent build and sound quality has made the IEMs a product that represents extreme value-for-money.

Designed for stage use, the IE 40 Pro is accurate, concise and detailed. Extremely musical, it is also suitable for audiophiles who are appreciative of the traits offered by the IEMs.

The use of proprietary connectors is probably the sole disappointment in what is an excellent offering from Sennheiser, one that has gotten me excited in anticipation for the IE 400 PRO and IE 500 PRO.
